The Name of the Game Is Kill (1968)

When reading that plot synopsis (from a studio pressbook), remember that The Name of the Game Is Kill was released in 1968, a full year before the Stonewall Riots.

Tisha joined Jack Lord, Susan Strasberg, Collin Wilcox, and female impersonator T.C. Jones in this psychological "thriller" whose publicity agents promoted it by "requiring" viewers to sign a pledge not to reveal the "shock" ending. Well, it's really no spoiler to tell anyone who doesn't already know (thirty five years later) that the "shock" ending was that "Mrs." Terry, the girls' "mother," was really Mr. Terry, their father. But consistent with studio hype about not revealing the "shock" ending, female impersonator T.C. Jones remained unidentified in the film's publicity material.

Among a family of weirdos, Tisha's character "Nan" stands out as the strangest of all, described in the film's publicity pressbook as "a beautiful little blond girl of eighteen who has just been expelled from school because she set a cat on fire"! Despite the film's rather lurid plot, Tisha won wide praise for her acting, with critics particularly noting her abiity to switch her eyes to a blankly psychotic glaze.
