Comedy and Drama

These comedic triumphs would be followed by more serious dramatic roles . . . spaced-out hippie Linny Raven in Coogan's Bluff, Dora the street child in The Wild Pack (The Defiant), accused murderess Buffy Cameron in A Death of Innocence, Tisha's magnificent cameo as psychiatric patient Grace Mayo in A Woman Accused.

. . . . At times, the drama would be combined with comedic whimsy, as Norwood's Marie co-starring opposite Glen Campbell . . .

. . . . Or with high camp, as Fern the sorceress, stealing the show from Vincent Price and Bill Bixby in "The Return of the Sorcerer" episode of Night Gallery.

"Have You Seen the Whales?" from the LP soundtrack of 1987's The Whales of August, in which Tisha played her mother's youthful character in an opening-scene cameo flashback. Ann Sothern was the film's only Oscar nominee, although Lillian Gish shared the National Board of Review's award for Best Actress with Holly Hunter in Broadcast News. Despite Ann's nomination, the 1987 Oscar for Best Supporting Actress went to Olympia Dukakis for Moonstruck.
