In all, Tisha's career includes over sixty screen and TV episode appearances, including supporting cameos playing youthful versions of her mother's, Ann Sothern's, characters in opening-scene flash-backs in Crazy Mama (1975) and The Whales of August (1987). Most recently, Tisha co-starred in 1999's Breakfast of Champions with Bruce Willis, Nick Nolte, Albert FinneyIMDb, and Barbara HersheyIMDb.

"When the Sun Starts Shining Through," which Tisha sang in Hall Bartlett's 1972 film The Wild Pack. Based on a collection of stories by Brazilian novelist Jorge Amado, The Wild Pack was filmed in the Brazilian state of Bahia, with local youngsters playing many of the supporting roles.
